CONSULTANCY

With a full range of Vessel design and construction services, we give customers the option of leveraging our expertise throughout the entire lifecycle of design and construction. 


At any project stage, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide quality advice that maximizes value.

We use all the latest processes to evaluate structural designs with due regard to client requirements, relevant codes, production costs, safety and timeframe. We take seriously the issue of safety and constantly review the operational and safety aspect of the structure and equipment we design.

Software available to our design engineers include Inventor, AutoCAD, RHINO, Srand7 FEA, Nauticus Hull among others. We cover elastic analysis (LRFD & WSD), fatigue assessment and buckling. We have extensive experience with DNV, Lloyds, ABS and EN design codes

Concept Design
Top level drawings to represent the major design features to demonstrate the design approach for the vessel.

Shipyard Bid Package
Set of top level drawings and technical specifications, developed to the extent necessary, to describe the vessels major design features and to obtain bid estimates from prospective shipyards.

Regulatory Approval Package
Set of functional drawings developed to the extent necessary to demonstrate compliance with and obtain regulatory/classification society approvals.

Detail Design Package
Set of detailed drawings developed to the extent and level necessary for prospective shipbuilder to build the vessel. The level of detail can be tailored to meet any shipyard build strategy.
